How to Find the Murderer in KMM

Hands, not hats

A Godly or Chroma does not prove a role. A knife mesh in the hand does. After the spawn delay, the Murderer is the only player who can hold a blade. Watch the right hand while people pick up coins. Sprint trails that cut a doorway the Sheriff just cleared are the next tell. The Sheriff guide already says: hold the angle, wait for the slash, then shoot. This page is how you get that slash without dying for it.

Audio: a slash that is not yours. Headphones turn Factory into a radar. If you hear a kill in the freezer on Hotel, do not loot the body — watch the door. If the player who “found” the corpse is already standing on it, that is often the killer posing as a witness. Call the username in chat. A false call kills Sheriffs; no call kills you.

Tips for identifying the murderer in a murder-mystery lobby

Corpses, guns, and last-two

A dropped Sheriff gun is a lighthouse. The Murderer wants it. Approach from a second door on Mansion or from a crate lane on Factory. If someone sprints straight at the gun without checking corners, they are either heroic or holding a knife — look at the hands before you shoot. Last two: one of them may already have stolen the gun. Do not team-shot the runner who just picked it up unless you saw the slash.

• Knife mesh after the spawn delay.
• Slash audio and a body with a nearby “witness.”
• Player who never walks toward coins, only toward people.
• Stuck knives in walls — the throw tells on them.
• ESP outlines exist on ESP scripts; they also make you sloppy. Learn Hotel without them one night.

Innocent without a gun: your job is the call, not the hero peek. Pair this with survive. Sheriff: one bullet, body shot counts, wall does not. The Raygun trophies from R4YGUN do not add ammo.
