KMM Codes Not Working
A dead Redeem button is usually a typo, a timing issue, or a brand-new reupload that has not copied the code table yet. It is rarely “the wiki is lying.” Work this list in order before you burn twenty minutes in Discord.
The five failures that look identical
- Wrong case or a letter-digit swap (O/0, S/5, L/1).
- Leading or trailing space from a messy copy.
- Redeem pressed before your character exists.
- You already claimed that string on this datastore.
- This place ID is a fresh reupload with an empty code table.
Start by pasting from the active codes table with the copy button. Then follow the redeem steps after you can walk. If the HUD itself is missing Inventory, you are not in KMM — some “FREE MM2” places use a Rewards NPC instead. Those are different games; this wiki is only for the KMM / Kairo murder-mystery clones.
Reuploads wipe more than the visit counter
The KMM FOREVER group still posts when a copy is deleted — some drop within hours of an all-ages rating, others last days. The next uploader may or may not paste N3WC0D3 back into their code module. If every string fails on the live ID, wait for a profile shout or a new description — the Trello page maps those channels. Do not invent codes from TikTok screenshots.
Already-claimed codes fail silently. KMM copies typically store claims per player, not per place. Hopping to another KMM ID will not give you a second Void scythe if both places share a group datastore. If they do not share data, you might get a duplicate on the new ID and lose it when that ID dies. That instability is covered in the review.
Executor and script conflicts
If you already injected a hub from the script page, some GUIs steal the Redeem remote or freeze Inventory. Disable the script, rejoin, redeem clean, then re-inject. Auto-redeem scripts exist for fake MM2 kits, but they fail when the clone renamed the remote. Manual paste is more reliable for three codes.
